Marianna has been a dental hygienist since 2009. She holds an Associate’s Degree in Science and Dental Hygiene from the State University of New York at Farmingdale. She is licensed in both dental hygiene and local anesthesia. She enjoys educating patients on their dental health while providing gentle, effective cleanings. Her positive and compassionate attitude enables her to calm even the most anxious of patients.
Marianna was born in Italy and moved to New York at the age of ten. She said goodbye to New York’s cold winters and hello to the Florida sun in 2014. She is fluent in Italian and speaks some Spanish. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and children as well as friends. Her favorite pastimes include going to the beach, shopping, exercising, and traveling. She gives back to the local community by volunteering at soup kitchens, Give Kids a Smile free dentistry events, and Dentistry from the Heart free dentistry events for adults.
Alex has been in dentistry since 2018, joining the Smile Cape Coral team in 2022. He holds Associate’s Degrees in Dental Hygiene and Education from Florida SouthWestern State College. Prior to launching his dental career, he worked in early childhood education for 8 years. Being a Dental Hygienist appeals to Alex because it enables him to help people have a healthy smile.
Alex’s friendly, compassionate approach puts even the most anxious patient at ease. He makes sure patients understand each step of their treatment and educates them on how to maintain their oral health at home. Committed to maximum patient comfort, Alex provides thorough cleanings with a gentle touch. He takes great satisfaction in providing a pain-free experience for his patients.
A native of California, Alex has been part of the Cape Coral community since 1995. In his free time he enjoys fishing, sports, and competitive shooting. He speaks English and Spanish.
Brianna’s warm, friendly attitude helps set the tone for the Smile Cape Coral team. She makes patients feel welcome and appreciated from the moment they step through the door.
She approaches her job with unflagging positivity,meticulous attention to detail, and calm efficiency that keeps our busy practice running smoothly. Patients appreciate her compassion and the personal interest she shows in them and their dental health.
A lifelong Fort Myers resident, Brianna enjoys boating, fishing, cooking, baking, and spending time with her husband, family, cat, and dog. She gives back to the community by volunteering with Meals of Hope, Holidays Without Hunger, and Smiles for the Community, a yearly free dental day sponosored by our dental group, Blue Sea Dental.
A familiar smiling face at the front desk, Alex makes patients feel welcome from their first phone call or step into our office. Alex has been in dentistry since 2013 and part of our team since 2018. Before moving to the administrative side of dentistry, Alex worked as a Dental Assistant. Her understanding of both the administrative and treatment phases of the patient experience enables her to facilitate the best possible experience for each patient. She takes great satisfaction in seeing patients’ confidence improve along with their smiles.
Alex was born in Indiana and lived there until she was a high school student when she moved to Florida with her parents. A devoted mother, Alex enjoys spending free time with her two daughters, especially partaking in the many outdoor activities our area offers.
Elly joined our team in 2024, bringing with her four years of experience in the dental field. Elly holds an Associate of Arts degree and in her prior roles gained hands – on expertise in oral surgery, orthodontics, and general dentistry. Elly’s roles have included front desk coordination and insurance billing, giving her a well – rounded understanding of patient care and practice operations. Her passion for oral health and drive to make a difference in people’s lives inspired her to pursue a career in dentistry, where she could help patients achieve healthier, happier smiles.
Elly takes pride in providing exceptional patient care, always striving to make every interaction warm, welcoming, and stress – free. She excels at communicatio n, ensuring patients feel understood and supported throughout their visits. Her empathetic nature and attention to detail allow her to address patient concerns effectively while fostering trust and connection. Elly particularly enjoys getting to know patie nts personally, making each visit feel like more than just a dental appointment.
Originally from Maryland, Elly relocated to Florida in 2024, trading snowy winters for sunny beaches and a fresh start closer to extended family. She loves exploring her new s urroundings and discovering local gems, as well as learning about different cultures. In her free time, Elly enjoys yoga, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, and spending quality time with her niece and nephew. Bilingual in English and Spanish, she is always ready to assist patients in whichever language makes them feel most comfortable.
Kaitlyn started her career in dentistry when she joined Smile Cape Coral in 2022. She was trained in Expanded Functions Dental Assisting at Cape Coral Technical College. Generous and compassionate, Kaitlyn’s strong desire to take care of others led her to choose dentistry.
Patients appreciate Kaitlyn’s friendly enthusiasm. She understands that many people are fearful or anxious about seeing a dentist. She is especially effective with anxious patients, helping them to relax and ensuring a comfortable, positive experience at each visit. Most rewarding for Kaitlyn is witnessing smile transformations and the joy they bring to her patients.
Kaitlyn is a Cape Coral native. She is family-oriented and especially enjoys spending time with her 8 nieces and nephews.
Patty’s expanded knowledge of dentistry enables her to go above and beyond as a Dental Assistant. Her warm personality and sense of humor sets her patients at ease. Patty is fluent in Spanish and comes from a multi-cultural background. This makes her especially effective at working with patients from various cultures.
Patty has a Bachelor’s degree in Aquaculture. She participates in various envrironmental preservation activities. She has participated in Dentistry From the Heart for several years. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her children. Favorite activities include ballroom and tango dancing, fishing, and enjoying the great outdoors.
Jayleen joined our team in 2022. She began her career in dentistry in 2012 and has worked as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant. Committed to constantly building upon her knowledge and experience, Jayleen is currently a student at Florida Southwestern University.
Compassionate and empathetic, Jayleen excels in showing our patients that they are cared for as individuals. Her top priority is ensuring our patients’ oral health and happiness. For Jayleen, the most satisfying part of her job is knowing she has played a role in helping a patient feel better about their smile.
Originally from Miami, Jayleen lived in Orlando before joining the Cape Coral community. Jayleen is Cuban-American and is fluent in both English and Spanish. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, going to the beach, and visiting Universal Orlando. Jayleen is also a skilled trumpet player and loves to play with marching bands when she has the chance.
Ashley worked as a Dental Assistant for 6 years before joining Smile Cape Coral in 2023. Her lifelong interest in teeth and oral health sparked her interest in Dentistry. This led her to pursue an education to become an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant.
Ashley’s compassionate attitude sets even the most anxious patients at east. As an EFDA, she works closely with patients, patiently guiding them through treatment and ensuring patient comfort. Ashley works diligently to exceed patient expectations and their smiles at the end of treatment make that hard work worthwhile.
